First, Raaji discovered that the talking SUN he thought he had invented was actually real.

Then the FLOWERS started talking.

Then a tiny CLOUD wearing a bow tie showed up at his window and announced:

“The Universe has been waiting for you.”

Raaji probably should have realized right then that his life was NEVER going back to normal. 

Because now…

THE CLOUDS ARE ON STRIKE. 

One morning, Raaji notices something strange.

The FLOWERS are nervous.

The ground is getting dry.

And the SKY is filled with some VERY grumpy CLOUDS that have decided they are absolutely, positively…

NOT. GOING. TO. RAIN.

Why?

Because the CLOUDS are tired of being blamed for ruining picnics, spoiling outdoor plans, and making everybody groan whenever they appear.

As far as they’re concerned, if nobody appreciates RAIN…

maybe everybody can just see what happens WITHOUT IT. 

At first, Raaji isn’t terribly worried.

But then the days pass.

GARDENS begin to struggle.

TREES grow thirsty.

And. . . the FLOWER COUNCIL officially reaches its breaking point:

 “Something is wrong.”
 “This is bad.”
 “Very bad.”
 “Motion to panic?”

YEP!.

This sounds like a job for Raaji. 

But Raaji is beginning to understand something important about this strange Universe that chose HIM: sometimes solving a problem isn’t about deciding who’s right or wrong.

Sometimes you have to listen.

FLOWERS desperately need the RAIN.

CLOUDS want to be appreciated.

And somehow, the seven-year-old kid who once thought he was simply making up ridiculous stories is standing right in the middle of it all.

Funny, magical, and filled with heart, Raaji and the Clouds That Refused to Rain is a wonderfully imaginative adventure about listening, empathy, cooperation, and recognizing that even the grumpiest voice in the room might have something important to say.

Raaji once wondered whether this impossible Universe was REAL.

Now the Universe is asking for his help.
